MORRIS - It’s Illinois Women in Business Week and the Morris Local Illinois Federation of Women’s Business Clubs is celebrating by offering a seminar to make sure women are prepared for the future.
 
“Illinois Women in Business Week provides an opportunity to recognize today's working women and to offer information to help them be successful,” said Morris Local IFWBC president Christina Chapman.
 
Karen Hallmer of Country Financial in Morris, the Morris Daily Herald and the Morris IFWBC have teamed up to hold a women’s seminar at 6 p.m. Oct. 18 at Chapin’s Restaurant, 701 N. Liberty St. in Morris.
 
The seminar will be hosted by Mark Hunt of Country Financial. It’s an opportunity to learn about securing your future, said Hallmer, Country Financial Agent and Morris Local IFBWC secretary.  
 
“Between holding careers and raising a family it’s hard to find time to worry about your financial future. We hope during the women’s seminar we can help make those decisions easier,” said Hallmer.
 
The seminar will educate women on financial security and long term care.

Morris IFWBC is an organization for working women to come together to give back to the community. It promotes equality in the workforce through advocacy, education and information.
