The field of human services is a broadly defined and not very well understood.  Yet, our society depends on human services organizations to tackle the most challenging socio-economic issues of our time.  We confront a vast array of needs within the population through a focus on prevention and remediation.  The sector is constantly evolving to address new challenges as well as new solutions. 

 

The Illinois human service sector has launched an awareness campaign called "Human Services Works" to help inform key state opinion leaders (including key business groups) on the work of human services and the socio-economic condition of our state.
