Witczak Brothers Memorial Highway Dedication
Seven Witczak brothers who all have served our country, either in World War II or the Korean War is a unique story that merits special recognition. The section of Route 251 from Tonica to Mendota n LaSalle County is now known as the Witczak Brothers Memorial Highway.
Sue Rezin is hosting a special celebration of this highway dedication along with the Witczak family and veterans from across the 38th Sendate District. After the ceremony, we will host a veterans social hour from 11 am to noon. Refreshments will be available.
