This is the wine tasting to come to if you'd like to try great wines from Illinois. Support YOUR state and local businesses! You'll be pleasantly surprised by how good Illinois wine can taste! $10.00 lets you sample wine splashes and enjoy some finger foods. You can also receive a discount on multi-bottle purchasing.

The wine tastings will take place during the hours of 6:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. You can come anytime during those hours for the tasting. We hold the wine tastings at the wine bar in 15+ minute intervals. Feel free to grab a chair and chat or have dinner anytime before, after or during the wine tasting.


You will be pleasantly surprised by our selections of wine and beer.

We offer grilled, sauteed and fried items. Our fresh fish and seafood selections are breaded in our kitchen by hand. We have a light breading so you can enjoy the fresh taste of your meal. We use 100% sunflower oil. Don't like shrimp? That's okay! We offer alligator, an amazing honey stung chicken, fresh organic salads and sandwiches that you'll love. At The Shrimp Barn we take pride in presenting our food to you and know you will enjoy the quality, freshness and value. We offer local wines. Our craft beer is from Chicago and Louisiana.
