Veterans Day Services

Grundy County community events scheduled to recognize veterans:

COAL CITY - At 11 am the Coal City Public Library District will sponsor a Veterans Day event with a flag raising ceremony, comments by the commanders of the American Legion and VFW and a reception will follow along with a display of WWI memorabilia.  For more information call Carla Welch @ 815-634-4552.

MINOOKA - Contact your Minooka Grade schools for details.

MORRIS - Due to weather conditions, the parade has been canceled. The observance will be held inside at the Morris Community High School starting at 11 am.

GARDNER - 11 am at the Gardner Fire Protection District  where the Gardner American Legion will be helping host this observance.

JOLIET JUNIOR COLLEGE - Noon on Monday, November 10th  at the main campus center bridge.
