Understanding & Appealing your Property Tax Assessment

Local homeowners interested in learning about the process for determining property taxes and how to appeal if they believe they may have been over-assessed are invited to attend a FREE outreach forum this Thursday, April, 28, 2016  ~  "Understanding and Appealing Your Property Tax Assessment".

The forum will include a presentation about the property tax assessment process followed by a question and answer session with staff knowledgeable about property tax policy.  Free informational brochures will also be provided.

RSVP's are encouraged but not required by calling my District Office at 815-416-1475.  For those of you who work the day and cannot attend an AM event, I am hosting another Property Tax town hall at 6 pm on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 in Morris.  An invitation for that event will be forthcoming.
