Partner Shelter Workshop Training for Emergency Shelter Operations
Last April we experienced devastating floods throughout Grundy County requiring dozens of families to seek emergency shelter.
The session will explain when and how shelters are opened, the roles and responsibilities of shelter workers, what supplies are used, and how to ensure that shelter clients are receiving the best possible accommodations following a disaster.
Two opportunities to join the 90 minute workshop:
Saturday, September 14th from 9:00 am to 11:00 am
Tuesday, September 17th from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm
