Night at the Museum

SAVE THE DATE – May 6th, 2014
 
This year is the 5 Year Anniversary of the opening of the Museum of the Grundy County Historical Society in Morris.  It was the culmination of fund raising and donations which allowed us to buy this space and it fulfilled a long held dream of the Society to be able to exhibit the treasures from around the county.
 
For the 5 Year Anniversary, we are going to have a celebration with raffles and door prizes.  We are calling it the NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM and narrators will be stationed at the exhibits to make the exhibits come to life.  You are invited to celebrate with us.  Call the Museum for an invitation (815) 942-4880.

Each year we are more successful in saving the history of this area.  Our research library has grown, our exhibits have grown and this is because of YOU.  Many of you have donated time, exhibits, pieces of history etc.  We greatly appreciate you and the many volunteers who make the exhibits an ever changing Museum.  Come celebrate with us.
