Morris VFW Memorial Day Observance and Parade
John Martin Steele VFW Post 6049 will host a parade and Memorial Day observance. The parade will start at Chapin Park about 10:30 am and go down Liberty Street to the Grundy County Courthouse where the VFW will host the annual Memorial Day observance. The VFW will host a luncheon afterwards at the Post at 309 McKinley Street. In the event of inclement weather the observance will be moved to the Morris Community High School.
