Morris Hospital & Healthcare Centers is now accepting pre-registration for the Corn Fest 5K Fun Run.  All proceeds are going to the Morris Hospital Foundation, specifically for the Betty J. Sterritt Nursing Scholarship Fund.  

The event will take runners and walkers on a 3.1 mile course through residential neighborhoods beginning at 9 am from White Oak Elementary School, 2001 Dupont Avenue in Morris.  The separate "Tot Trot" for children ages 8 and under will take place at 8:30 am in the file behind White Oak School.

The first 600 runners and walkers to register will receive dry-fit-t-shirts.  Tot Trot participants will receive cotton t-shirts.

Participants can receive a discounted rate by registering before 12 pm on September 25.  Pre-registration fees are $25 for the 5 K Run, $18 for the Wellness Walk, and $8 for the Tot Trot.  Pre-registration can be completed online at www.racetime.info, or by calling 815-705-7364 and requesting a registration form by mail.

After September 26, participants can register on race day.  Race day registration is $30 for the 5K Run, $25 for the Wellness Walk, and $8 for the Tot Trot.
