Midewin National Tallgrass Prairie Bison Event

Experience Historic Route 66 including a unique viewing opportunity to see Midwein's bison up close.  The USFS at Midewin is partnering with Elwood and Wilmington to showcase Midewin's bison herd in a small pasture adjacent to the Iron Bridge Trail-head.  Shuttles will run from Wilmington and Elwood to the Iron Bridge Trailhead every 15-20 minutes.  Parking directly at the Iron Bridge Trailhead will not be available during the event.
