The Women in Engineering at the University of Illinois are hosting an "Introduce a Girl to Engineering" day for all high school girls and parents. This event will take place in the Loomis Laboratory of Physics, 1110 West Green Street, Urbana, IL. The price is $5 per person and includes lunch.
This information packed day will provide girls with a better understanding of the opportunities available as an engineering student and with a career in this exciting area. Students will have a chance to design devices that will have real-world impact while parents discover what the University of Illinois Engineering program looks like through a campus tour and question and answer session with current students and faculty.
