This event is regarding a solar farm project!!

Livingston and Grundy County Farm Bureaus will be hosting an informational meeting on the proposed solar project.  Garrett Thalgott, attorney with the Illinois Agricultural Association Office of General Counsel, will be presenting information related to the project and easement considerations..

TOPICS WILL INCLUDE:

• Contract law basics
• Lease term (duration)
• Compensation structure
• Siting on the facility on the parcel (i.e. company ultimately decides where panels will be placed on parcel)
• Landowner obligations if company moves forward with the project
• Decommissioning provisions
• Reservation of landowner rights
• Need for consultation with private attorney
