I&M Canal Caravan to Visit Sites Between Romeoville and Morris

We will visit Illinois history with guided tours.

1. Isle a la Cache to be transported back to the 1600's when French fur traders fir explored the area.
2. I&M Canal Adelmann Archives, an impressive collection of photos and documents about the canal's early history.
3. Joliet Iron Works for a walking tour that winds through the ruins of the old Joliet steel mill.
4. Brandon Lock and Dam for an exclusive behind the scenes tour at a lock and dam.
5. Channahon State Park for a visit to I&M canal locks 6 & 7, as well as a dam and locktender's house.
6. Evergreen Cemetery for a guided tour of notable people, including Chief Shabbona.  Afterward, join us for supper at Turtle's Tap in Morris.
