Housewalk and Tea

This year’s Christmas House Walk and Tea will be held on Saturday, November 29 from 11:00 a.m. -6:00 p.m. It will feature four homes, beautifully decorated for the holiday season, and a complimentary tea hosted by the Immaculate Conception Church at 600 E. Jackson.

Tickets for the event are available at many local businesses and financial institutions in Morris. They will also be available on the day of the event at all of the homes on the house walk as well as at the Tea. The cost of the ticket is $15. Included in the ticket price is a coupon for a 25 percent savings on selected items at participating retailers in Morris from November 29^th - December 1^st.  It will also be your entry into a drawing to win a Grand Prize which includes a diamond pendant from Harrington’s Fine Jewelry, a collection of gifts and gift certificates from the Morris Retail Association, a $250.00 Grundy County Chamber of Commerce Gift Certificate, dinner at Chapin’s Restaurant, a complimentary stay at the Holiday Inn Express and Suites and a private wine tasting for two at Montage Spirits and Gifts. The entries may be turned in to any of the participating retailers listed on the ticket.
 
Proceeds from the house walk are donated to various organizations. Funds from the 2012 house walk went to the Grundy Community Volunteer Hospice, Morris Downtown Beautification Fund and Morris High School and GAVC Scholarships.
