Grundy County Tire Event
FREE TIRE RECYCLING EVENT
hosted by the Grundy County Land Use Department
Please do the following so all may enjoy this event:
Limited 10 tires per vehicle
No agricultural, commercial, or industrial tires will be accepted
Unload tires and assist in the loading of the tires you bring
All tires shall be off the rims and clean
Rubber from the tires will be recycled by K&S Tire Recycling, Inc of Chicago Heights repurposed for:
Crumb rubber for playground, and synthetic turf
Lightweight fill for road embankments
Asphalt additive for road pavement
