Grundy County Back to School Fair
The Grundy County Back to School Fair provides necessary supplies and services (all at no charge) to low income families with school age children in Grundy County through an application process.
There is an application process through We Care of Grundy County and appointments are scheduled for those who qualify.
Last year, more than 400 school-aged children attended the Back to School Fair and received services such as: Physicals, Eye Exams, Dental Exams, Immunizations, School Supplies, Vouchers for School clothes, and Gym Shoes. In addition, the Expo area offered resources for families with school-aged children.
This event would not be possible without the numerous volunteers and the organizations who contribute their time and talent such as United Way of Grundy County, Community Foundation of Grundy County, Morris Hospital & Healthcare Centers, Lions Club, Mobile Dentists, We Care of Grundy County, Operation St. Nick, K.Y.K.S., and the Grundy County Health Department.
