Food Allergy Research & Education (FARE) ? which works on behalf of the 15 million Americans with food allergies, including all those at risk for anaphylaxis (a life-threatening allergic reaction) ? is bringing its national Walk for Food Allergy to Chicago on September 29. FARE?s mission is to ensure the safety and inclusion of individuals with food allergies while relentlessly seeking a cure. This family-friendly event seeks to raise funds and awareness for food allergy advocacy, education and research programs. This year the walk will feature additional ways that attendees can raise awareness through a new program offered by presenting sponsor Mylan Specialty L.P. More information about the program and how to get involved at the walk can be found at www.anaphylaxisrevealed.com.
