Emergency Preparedness Dispensing Exercise by Grundy County Health Dept

VOLUNTEERS ARE HIGHLY NEEDED

We are looking for volunteers for a one day of service
volunteer activity.  This is not your normal volunteer activity.
What we are looking for are people to volunteer to act as
patients.  We will be hosting an exercise to test our
throughout (how many patients we could get through our
dispensing/vaccination clinic in an emergency per hour) as
required by the IL Dept of Public Health.  Those that participate/
volunteer as patients is that they arrive by 8 am.  They will be
provided with some small breakfast snacks and then begin the
process of receiving a medical screening form (registration
form) which may or may not be already completed for them
with predetermined patient information, and then move on
through the dispensing clinic, repeating this process multiple
times for us until noon.
