Dog Obedience Training offered 4-Hers, Youth, and Adults

Anyone interested in taking the Wednesday evening classes which start on May 21st through July 23rd should call the Extension office at 815-942-2725 to register. Anyone is invited to join the classes; however, non 4-H youth and adults will be charged $5 per class.  Youth who would like to join the Klover K-9 group and only participate in the dog program are more than welcome to join as well.  Joining the Klover K-9 group will be a one-time $15 fee.

Due to the changes in the dog obedience show for the fair, anyone wishing to participate in dog obedience should attend the one time meeting on Wednesday, April 30th at 7 pm at the Extension Office.  During the meeting the changes in the division will be reviewed as the classes, scoring system, equipment, and exercises are moving to the AKC format.  Please pre-register for this meeting by calling the office as well.
