As Good As Gold Golden Retriever Rescue Meet & Greet at Blackbird's Bowl

Come out to Blackbird's Bowl, Natural Pet Foods & More to meet some adorable Golden's and learn more about the marvelous breed. As Good As Gold will be here from 11am-2pm and volunteers will be available to answer any questions you may have.


As Good As Gold Golden Retriever Rescue of Northern Illinois is a member-based, volunteer-supported organization that rescues, cares for, & rehomes Golden Retrievers & golden mixes. In addition, the organization educates the public about responsible dog ownership at more than 150 Meet & Greets a year. As Good As Gold celebrated its tenth anniversary on 5/15 & was recently selected to receive the Golden Retriever Club of America's 2012 Starfish Award. The Starfish Award recognizes Golden Retriever rescues & rescue volunteers who have made a significant contribution to the rescue community.
