Blackbird's Bowl transforms into a "Pop-up Art Gallery"
to benefit Local Pet Rescues on Saturday, March 21st!
Downtown Morris 3rd Annual Art for Animals Charity event will take place on March 21st from 6pm-9pm.
Blackbird's Bowl, Natural Pet Foods & More will open the doors to their charming boutique, located at 221 Liberty St. in Downtown Morris, to bring together pet lovers, art connoisseurs, delightful music, and delicious food. All proceeds from the event will benefit The Pet Project of Marseilles and Potter, The Dog. "The Pet Project in Marseilles is doing amazing work!" said Tammi Janel, owner of Blackbird's Bowl when asked about the beneficiaries of the event. "Potter was chosen because of his remarkable story, not only are we raising funds to support shelters and rescues, but we are telling stories of individual animals that have been deeply wounded by the abuse of humans yet continue to be loving, kind and generous in their hearts."
Tammi Janel Margie Glass-Sula Fine Art has again donated a commissioned piece of art on behalf of The Gutter Dog Project for one lucky raffle winner. Each ticket to the event includes your chance to win a custom charcoal drawing of your own pet(s).
Tickets are $45/person and also include your entry to the special event with silent auction, an exquisite food menu, and open bar. Plus, this year we will also have a Henna Tattoo Artist creating body art for attendees!
Tickets are on sale now and are limited to the first 40 people. Advance purchase is recommended as Blackbird's Bowl expects to sell out prior to the event.
