Annual Cabin Festival
Cabin Festival 2013 will be held at the Goose Lake Prairie State Natural Area June 15th. The event runs from 10 to 3 featuring old time crafters, such as spinning, weaving, and making bobbin lace. Woodworkers, Indian relics and living history fill the yard around the Cragg Cabin. The Prairie Partners and Friends plan a day of entertainment, education and fun with special activities for the kids. Come out and join us. Goose Lake Prairie Partners is the support group for the Goose Lake Prairie State Natural Area. Volunteers who join help with special events, assist at the Visitors center and help in the gift shop.
